Hi @Pwsingh, As @TedBear has mentioned, you can purchase plastic cisterns such as the Estilo WELS 3 Star 3.9L/min White Linksuite PVC Cistern quite cheaply. At $74, including all new parts, that certainly sounds like a great solution to your issue.

February 2022 Hi all, I have a couple of toilets with Caroma Dual Flush cisterns in my house that would be 35-37 years old. One of the toilets is leaking water from the cistern into the toilet bowl, not a lot but a constant trickle. I understand that the cistern seat washer is likely to need replacing and have bought a Caroma washer kit to do so.

Should be an easy fix - have done this years ago, you just remove the flush valve (doesn't even require tools), replace the washer/seal on the bottom, reseal it, and should be good to go. Problem is I just can't figure out how to remove this valve - unless it just a case of more violence is required.
