4GAC86U｜Modem Routers｜ASUS Global
I have a device that can only connect to a 2.4GHz connection. When trying to set it up and connect to WiFi, it continually fails.. If it helps at all, I have two ASUS routers creating a mesh network. The primary is an RT-AC5300 and the secondary is an RT-AC1900P. Both have up to date firmware. Any help or insight here would be appreciated.

If it is not one of the newer ones it maybe only has 802.11n radios. In any case even if you had the best wifi cards you seldom get 100mbps on 2.4 and you might get 350mbps on 5g. You might get more with a desktop that has a 4x4 mimo card sitting next to the router but then you just use ethernet.
